Dr. Mohamed Wisham is an accomplished Endocrinologist and researcher with publications in respected Journals including the Oxford Journal of Endocrinology. Dr. Wisham has over 15 years of experience in the medical field and currently practices as a senior consultant in Endocrinology in Male’ City Group of Hospitals of Government of Maldives.

 

Dr. Mohamed Wisham established the first Metabolic Center in the Maldives, specializing in management of diabetes, PCOS, and metabolic disorders.

 

He has contributed to numerous research initiatives in endocrine diseases and public health including Co-authoring Hormones and Preserving Youth that was covered in international publications such as Forbes, Maxim etc. His second Book, Patient Guide for Diabetes and Metabolic disorders was launched by the Minister of Health in 2025, as a useful guide to patients with Metabolic Disorders. 

 

He will be consulting as part of Selected Expert team of doctors of Maldives Neuro Endocrine Medical Facility with focus on;
